Email Plugin not working.

When I try to send an email from my website I get this error:
Fatal error: Cannot access protected property JException::$message in /home/benrierm/public_html/benjaminmcdonnell.com/plugins/system/plg_gkcontact/plg_gkcontact.php on line 255

Are you sure you use plugin for Joomla! 3? Please try to re-download rest_files package and reinstall this extension.

I'm having the same issue. Everything works but no one receives mail. I get "Thank you for sending mail!" but no one got mail.
The copy to me works but the receiver doesn't get anything

you can try to update contact plugin with new version,
but about reasons it must be something with server settings,
and we cannot help with this.
I suggest to use alternative contact module instead.
