Image Sizes on K2 Items

Is there a way to make the images look smaller or bigger under K2 articles?
When attempting to change the article image sizes to xs, s, m, l, or xl, at the K2 configuration, the image quality is changed instead of outputting the desired size.
The changes are to be made to K2 articles such as the one found here:

It is connected with fact that the images are always expanded to 100% of the content column width.

Please open the css/k2.css file and change width: 100% to width: auto in the following selectors:

.itemImageBlock > a

.itemImageBlock img
