How can I change these two animated images.

first thing - go to global configuration and change editor to none (do it always when editing modules)
now go to extensions - module manager, filter position with use of header_bottom - You will find two modules published on frontpage. edit any of them and find line looking this way:

Ah ha... that was the trick I was missing and couldn't see it by changing across the editor mode. Disabled showed it completely.

I was looking in the source and grabbing that code, but wondered how you were injecting it as I couldn't see it in the module until disabling the editor completely.

No problem.
We suggest to always disable tineMCE editor (change it to editor - none in global configuration), as tinyMCE messes up the code and often damages more advanced modules.
