Jomsocial 2.2.4 template Not work

I am using Jomsocial 2.2.4. And I have install the Quay template. But the theme for Jomsocial cannot work. It shows as in the attachment.

when will the update of theme for Jomsocial 2.2.4 released?

For my part I've uploaded the joomsocial theme
jomsocial_theme_22.08.2011
directly from the extension Management.

The uploading and installation went fine. I had the greeting message.

But I can't find the Template neither in the JomSocial Template nor in
the classic Joomla Templates management zones.

I have to add that I install this with Jomsocial 2.2.4 on Joomla 1.7

Any idea of this problem ?

Hi

This release is only for J!1.5 and not for J!1.7.
Actually Quay template is only available for J!1.5 and if you are using this version, you only need to upload/replace all gk_style on JomSocial template directory and them go to JS Configuration panel and make sure that gk_style is the default template.

Again... this is not for J!1.7.

It seams that you didn't quite understand.
One thing is our Joomla template and a different thing is JS theme.
QUAY template is only available for J!1.5, so naturally JS theme for this template is only for J!1.5 and it's only for QUAY template, not for other joomla templates or other joomla versions.

About JomSocial on Joomla!1.7, if our Joomla template is released on J!1.7 with JS support, naturally you can count with it
If you are asking if a JS theme built for J!1.6 can work on J!1.7, i don't see way not.
In other hand, from J!1.5 to J!1.7 that is another issue and might need some css adjustments.

You are terribly right. I did not quite understood it
Now with your explanation, I think I succeed to did it.

I think that maybe, for some other Gavick users, the fact that you have to use
the same template (same name) for "normal" Joomla and the specific file of the same
Template for JomSocial was not clear. At least for me
