text to the right side of logo

hi,

i have a logo in the template at the top which is almost 400x400 pixels. i need to add text next to it which will display the name of the organization.

i am just not able to do it? how can i achieve it?

Hi

You need to edit /layouts/blocks/logo.php and add this text there/ Please just put it in for example <span></span> tags so it will be easy to style and show me the website than.

i appreciate your help.

i tried to carry out the actions defined by you but unfortunately there was no logo.php file located at >>> /layouts/blocks/logo.php

any idea why this has happened? and any other alternative way?

Sorry, my fault. In this template this file is called top.php so please try edit this one.

hi again,

i thank you for the help and update.

frankly i am very new to joomla... and it is becoming difficult to make a head or tail of the code written in the top.php page.

i tried modifying it with instructions given by you but still i could not achieve any result.

infact when i tried to change something in the top.php page it was just to affecting the page when refreshed in the browser.

could you please guide me on this by sparing some of your valuable time.
