Issue with duplication of articles

Hi,

I am having issue with one of the main menu as it is duplicating articles from the specified k2 category. Also, it is changing the category alias from "news-analysis" to "newsanalysis" and therefore breaking the links of the articles and resulting in 404.

I have also created a module position on frontpage to showcase more stories from that category and is doing the same thing and breaking my article links.

Has anyone incurred this issue and what could it be done to resolve it.

I appreciate any steps and guidance.
