Best media player sollution to stick on all pages?

Hi,
For a client I need to make a media player (radio). I did that by opening small window on click in order not to stop the music when surfing on another page on the webpage.

What is the best solution to have something like footer bar that is on all pages and not refreshing?

Footer is a part of the site and it will refresh. I think new browser window is the only way the music will keep playing while browsing.
