Hi.
I cant change any menus or submenus in the sporter template.
Am I doing anything wrong? Cant I just change them as normal or is there another way in 1.7?
Regards,
Henrik

If this is in local server can you install an another templates quickstart package to see if the problem is related to your server or the sporter template only...
If this is on live server post a link so we can see it ourself.
Also post your joomla version...

Can you check if there is a "configuration.php" file in server root?
Also edit your admin access post and delete access details...
Also none of your joomla folders have write permissions it could be because of that...

There is a configuration.php in the root.
It has been deleted now.
Okay, i'll check the write permissions right away.

For test purposes can you please install standard joomla from joomla website and test for the problem...
As some of the folders needs to have 777 folder permissions not 755.

I just tried with 777 and it didnt help.
Then I installed your 1.5 quicksolution and in this I can change the menu.
Should I just keep 1.5 and use this or will you advice me to keep trying and use 1.7?

Well depends on your project and its life expectation. For future proof you should try to use 1.7 so you can keep up with updates and support.
Did you try to install normal joomla 1.7 from joomla.org to see if the problem is with joomla 1.7 or with sporter template 1.7 version...

FOUND THE PROBLEM!
Eighter it was a setting in ISPConfig or it was .htaccess that gave the error. (Dont know and dont care, it works!)
