Corporate template- Image Show space and menu shows white background

Attached is the undersered behavior I am getting using the default Image Show inside the header positions seems to not have the background image flush side to side and also seems to put a white backgound behind the menu bar as well.

Not sure what is happening here, if I remove the Photo Slide from the header position the menu bar doesn't have that white space.

any suggestions?

please try use " clear" suffix on the module to get rid of the white border...

for the bg not to go full width i will need to see your www before i can say anything...

where do I specify "clear" suffix for the module?

Also why doesn't the Photo Slide Show space taking up the entire header space, it also looks like the header space goes up into the nav menu space.

shouldn't the bg be full width , i would of thought the bg is for the header space bg and that would go full width.

my customer doens't have his hosting/domain setup so I am doing everything on my PC localhost.
if you could just give me the suggestions for now I can try them and let you know what the page looks like with screen caps, also i can send any css/php files you need to see. Thanks Much!!
