hi thank you for taking the time to help me, i have a site http://www.ansskincare.com and have been running joomla 1.5 for a long time, i am very new to joomla, and someone else bulit ansskincare for us but now is no-where to be found. yesterday i installed jupgrade to migrate to the new joomla? not upgrade? and purchased your membership to use the esport templete (it is still in the http://ansskincare.com/jupgrade) and when it instaled it gave me a error of 404 so i went and disabled anything that was k2 and now it looks like it is trying to migrate as there is bits of my companies info showing up but not everything so im sure that its just as easy as finding things to turn off? im hoping so. thank you very much in advance and hope we can get this figured out quickly as i will be disapointed to pay $130 and not be able to use your products

Hi mate,
Thank you very much for creating this topic where I can help you rather than the private place. I assume that you need to upgrade your Joomla site from 1.5 to 2.5 and also change its template to GK Esport, so you have to ways to go:
1. Install a new/fresh Joomla site with the latest version, then install the template and extensions, import content..
2. Use the upgrade tool to upgrade/migrate current site to Joomla 2.5, install the template and extensions, configure them to display content suitably.
If the current site hasn't got a huge content then you are recommended to choose the first one because upgrades do not always give us fully what a product has and what we have customized..
If installing the template gives you some error, please send me a PM to provide with backend and FTP access then I will check and fix for you.
Cheers,

I do know that you have got problems with the template but I want to know exactly what they are then I could help, what you've said are very general so I I'm lost to give you a further direction. I don't know what you meant by "the template doesn't function", I have checked the links you gave me and I could see that it works, you are supposed to configure your modules, contents...to have the site looking better, it's now a mess because you have installed just the template.
In case you want to see all the functions of the template, you should download Quickstart package to install.

Hi,
Where did you upload the quickstart files? You can't do that via Extension Manager because it's not an extension but a Joomla package which is the same when you download from Joomla.org, the differences are that the Quickstart includes our templates, extensions, and sample data which after installing you would get a Joomla site with sample content looking exactly like our demo site.
What you are supposed to do is to unzip that package and upload it to your server via a FTP client program then install it like installing a Joomla package.
More info about installing Quickstart: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... oomla-1-6/
Please read this to know the differences between QuickStart package and Template package https://www.gavick.com/documentation/ge ... tallation/
P/s: If you don't understand what I say please ask for explaining.

1. Backup everything under your ROOT folder, then make the folder clear/empty.
2. Download Quickstart package, unzip it.
