Hi,
For this module I do not need or want a menu item. People should just have to click on the module to learn more about the "konkurrencer" that means competions where people can win something.

Hi,
I created an article "Sommer i Provence"
and a module "Sommer i Provence" which is now unpublished. It is a copy of Konkurrencer and meant to be set in the same place as a substitution of Konkurrencer.
Then I created a menu "Sommer i Provence" which was only for special user to see.
But it didn't work. I was not able to display the image in the article.
Then I deleted the menu and tried later. Then I was not allowed to create a menu with the same url. Så I made another Skønne Provence, but that did not work either.
So now I am back with the old Kokurrencer that does not work. The links in the articles do not work.
See http://www.fritidsmagasinet.dk
By the way - how can I create a menu with the name I want without getting the error message that a menu with this url exists.
Can anyone help.

Hi Konrad,
My host ask if the ip is dynamic or static

Hi,
This is what my host just wrote in Danish - please translate it in google.
Does this help.
du blokerer en masse via din .htaccess fil på webhotellet.
Måske er det årsagen til at han ikke kan se siden:
########## Block bad user agents
m.m.

@morgenstund,
Can you please check while viewing main menu items if you have any items in trash, if you do simply empty your joomla trash, select status > trashed, select all items by checking on their checkbox and click on top right "Empty Trash". Now you can recreate the menu item which you couldn't earlier on. See below image.
When you create the menu item make sure it is linked to joomla or k2 category where your module is getting its data from, this way links will work.
Also see following topic regarding why links not working and menu & joomla / k2 category examples.

You can use it in hidden menu. Only thing is whatever alias you enter in menu item in website urls you will see that alias.

Looks like module is stripping html code before outputting. There is a switch in module settings > Additional Settings > XHtml Off. Check that, in my testing on twn2 it didn't have any effect so I ll check with developers if this is normal behaviour.

Great - I am looking forward to your answer.
I tried to publish a copy of the module on right top on frontpage, but I was only able to see a small part of the text - it was all to the right. I am wondering why it changes when published on the frontpage and not under for example the menu - Konkurrencer - also right top.

I have tested this further and following is what I've found.
Normal Article layout items follow switch in module settings additional settings > XHTML "on" or "off". If its on it strips HTML tags in content if its off it doesn't. So using html tags in Joomla Articles or K2 Items and if those are displayed in "Article Layout items" then it will work regardless of module position.
Link Layout items however strips off html tags and has no switch to enable it or disable it.
Regarding difference between article layout items and Link Layout items see following image.

Hi Norman,
I tried, but to no avail.
My plan was to unpublish "Køb og Salg" module top right and then havn the "konkurrence top rigt" instead.
Maybe you will give it a try - I guess you have my credential.
You can just check off the Køb og Salg so it is still on the other pages.

Please check your website to see if its working as you wanted.
I added a link to Following article "Vind Santa Maria middagskit" following word "Tilmeld dig" is linked to http://www.mywebsite.com.
It is showing on module.
I had to make a change to module file due to following reason.
When XHTML is disabled in module settings > additional settings then your first image gets rendered in module as large image.
I have added '<a>' to whilelist so that doesn't get stripped while XHTML clean mode is enabled.
File: modules\mod_news_pro_gk4\tmpl\layout.parts.php
Line: 32 to 34 which is below
Added last line '<a>' which strips rest of html but allows a link.
