Change width on user field or float

Dear all

I would like to change the width of an userfield, in this case i have a sort of slider that slides our cd covers. As you can see the field goes only to where the right field begins. I would like to have our slider go all the way across the web page horizontal and not stop at the right field as i does now. How can i achieve this in the code?

I did find another solution. I have put the slider in the banner position instead.

Yes but i would b cool to have som more controls over the module positions, well i am not the big CSS code guy
