K2 Items not showing on Latest Projetcts on Homepage

Hi all,
I am currently testing this template. I have set the Latest Projects data source to K2 Articles.
I have created a new article and used the Item ID in the data source to try and pull it through.
For some reason it does not seem to like my article and it does not appear on the homepage. I have assigned the item to an already existing category.
I think I must be missing something, but cannot see what.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Prit

Try changing Featured / non featured options as depending on module settings this might be the issue.
Such as if K2 item is not featured and you have Featured enabled in module settings then that will leave your item out and vice versa.
Make sure publishing date of K2 item is not in future date, so it is published.
Make sure module is showing enough items, such as if you have 10 items including new K2 item and your settings in module is to display 8 then obviously it will only show 8.
Let us know how you get on, see you around...

Hi,
Thanks for your message. I have checked the above mentioned and still have the issue. What I have done is kept the 'Featured' and 'Published' the same as another demo item that does work.
It is weird because all the demo items seem to work, but my newly created items don't.
The date and time is earlier today.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Prit

Hi,
Thanks for the message. I am not too sure how that came up. The image that was displayed was an article image and not the main image selected in the 'Image' tab. Once I deleted the image from the article, the main image appeared.
However, I have added a new K2 item - Item ID 18 and this is not displaying.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Prit

If item appeared after a certain time passed by then I think it is to do with server time offset.
So do following please.
1. Create another new item for test purpose.
2. Check in frontpage and we can see it is not there.
3. In module settings > data source > time offset.
Change to +12 for test.
4. Check in front page, if item is there then reduce +12 until it disappears then move back 1 level to working offset.
If item still not showing in this case try negative value start from -12 then keep checking same as above.
If changing any offset does not show newly created item then please postback and I ll check your site.
Please make sure cache is disabled and item is published in the right category where your previous new item was to make sure we can check if issue is with offset value.

Hi,
I changed the 'Created date' (to yesterdays date) and that seemed to sort the problem out.
Thank you very much for your help
Regards,
Prit
