I am using this template to create content that needs a child menu without the extra white space.
Any suggestions on how can I adjust the Menu Params (GavickPro) to the normal size for child content links?
See image to view the extra white space.

I am referring to the flyout child menu that isn't part of the original design. There will only be 1-4 links.
See highlighted area.

Game Magazine is quite old template,
so maybe not all parts works as they should in some modern browsers.
But to fix it I have to see URL.

Okay, I understand it may have issue with new browser version. The template great because it is a ready demo for a large site.
I can replace sections that tend to react badly. Maybe I can search for a new menu extension at Joomla.org if you can not find a fix for this one.
Moved it from localhost to live server here: www.test.jones-massey.com
Thank you.

I can only guess that height for 2nd subitems box is connected with 1nd submenu item box - so it uses this same height.
It was shortcut for developer, but I cannot give you easy solution for it.
It request more changes in php/js.
Using CSS we can only make a smaller white menu box, but result never will be great like in modern templates.

Okay. I see it works well in the University Template. This is a massive project so it is best to start off with current browser compatibility and stay away for the older templates.
Thanks for the information.

Old templates are old, and they will be until they will be off from support.
That's why we always suggest to use new templates which can be fixed and new features can be also added by requests.
By the way: viewtopic.php?f=284&t=43210
please add info that you need also "classic" menu in Quark.

Thanks for all your help.
I took your new template advice. I moved games module to university template and creatively added games css.
