hi guys
i have the 2.6.3 version of jomsocial (cant upgrade as we have a mobile app built into the site) - i have the relevant gk style template installed, but for some reason, when i "turn off" the "view member count" in the gk style settings in the jomsocial --> templates artea, the css disappears from the jomsocial toolbar.
even if i turn the member count back on (which i dont want) the css style does not return to the toolbar.
is there a fix for this?
website is: http://www.poprepublic.tv
(jomsocial is located in the "community" menu)
thanks!

Hi
Most likely it's using some css which was brought along with this element. Can You please tell me the exact link to the page I'll be able to see "view member count" ? Maybe the easiest way would be a different method of hiding it.

Hi
It's really hard to tell, becauase I do not know which element are a product of modification and which are the broken ones, but I think it will look much better if You will add this code to override.css (override in template must be allowed)
Plese let me know what exactly needs to be adjusted.

hi
thanks for this - but it does not alter anything
i tried placing both the code in the custom css with override on - as well as directly in the override.css file via ftp...
neither made any changes... i have left it there in case you need it?
thanks again!

oh, additionally - i was digging around to see if i could see anything obvious to a newbie like me
lol
i was looking at the "frontpage.index.php" file - and near the members section - its calling for a file if the user is logged in (which would show the toolbar etc) called "frontpage.members.php"
this does not seem to exist in the GK STYLE folder... would this be the issue?
thanks

Hi
I'm not sure. I'll better send this to programmers. Please send me an access to ftp so I'll have this for them.

Hi
Here is what programmers answered:
Here is what programmers answered:
what is JomSocial and template version ? It looks like JS is updated but template style not. Please download rest_files package and install proper JS style. In latest supported JomSocial they changed the toolbar CSS and it looks like problem with just not updated style.

thanks - i reinstalled one of the styles, and then manually adjusted the code to remove the member count -- if you use the option in the admin panel to hide the member count - it still screws up the gkstyle, and you have to reinstall is again... weird.
but its now fixed. thanks.

Hi
Ok. I'm glad it helped. And yes I agree it's weird. The only thing I can think of which can be causing it is some cache or css compression plugin.
