Even though I have not enabled the Social Icons, I can see the pinterest and twitter link display on my articles. How to fix this?

Please check if you have disabled the social icons under the "Social API" tab in the template settings - as default they are enabled as I remember.

So this has been a few days and the icons are still here, so it is not due to cache or something like that. Can I get some help on how to disable them?

Hello,
I have the same issues with social api. I like to fix it because it forms one of the problem for w3c validator.

@Delage - I've enabled an option "Use GK Cache" under the template advanced settings and now social icons are not displayed as it was excepted. This option must be enabled when you are using Joomla cache.

I have found that the GK Cache plugin was uninstalled - I've reinstalled it and activated - it solved your issue again.

Do you mean that it was installed at your first visit and got spontaneously uninstalled since your last? Really strange

Hi, this is really odd but the sharing icons are back http://www.guillaumeerard.fr/aikido/art ... ei-ueshiba
The plugin exists and is enabled, so is GK cache in the template confg.
I like this template but frankly, its jumping configuration is a little frustrating

I have no social icons on the mentioned page - maybe it was a result of the old cache output?
