Position of Date/Time in Category Blog layout

Hi there,
I created a menu item using the standard Joomla Category Blog selection - all works OK.
I want to know how to have the time/date showing at the very top of each article.
At the moment the time/date shows at the end of the article (doesn't look nice or logical)
I can't find any settings in the standard Joomla options, nor anything in custom CSS.
Thanks, John
pls refer to this page to see what I mean > http://www.parralox.com/news

You would need to edit some core template files.
Would you like to move only the date?
Where should it appear?
Could you create a screenshot and mockup the date element on it (in place where it should be)?
Should it be moved only on single article, or on blog index also (on list of articles)?

Hi Cyberek,
Thanks for the quick reply.
In short, I'm trying to replicate a blogger.com layout.
I've included a screenshot of exactly how I'd like the articles to appear.
The details I've asked for should be the same on all articles displayed ie -
Date/time at the top,
then title below that (must not be a clickable link)
then article below that,
then a horizontal line below that,
And then the next article, and repeat.....
The jpg below will show you exactly what I'd like to achieve.
Thanks! John.

Sorry, but thats a customization beyond our support.
Please ask any freelancer developer for help to make that changes live.

Hi Cyberek,
No problemo.
I actually managed to do it via some overrides in css and with a custom Page Class.
Thanks for answering and hope you have a Happy New Year!
Cheers, John
