lost main menu

I have installed a sitemap and renamed the main menu to the German language. Now it is gone. I also can't find the right module position of the main menu and somehow the footer menu is now showed as main and footer menu.

This is really strange.

Menu is not a module, but static template element. I advice to use Falang to translate menu elements. There is also a way to make it with joomla alone, but it's not the easiest one: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/qu ... oomla-1-7/

You must have reconfigure it somehow that the rest of the options are gone.
