problem with jomsocial

Hi all
i installed jomsocial 1.6 and i can see this home page

how you can see, the character is bad
how can i change it?

i use joomla 1.5.26

It is getting / inheriting "text-shadow" property from somewhere so font looks kind of bold.

Then I suggest searching for "Firebug" tutorials on google and use it together with Firefox to determine where its getting text-shadow property.
