how to make expand top-1 position beyond 50-percent

hello Admins,
For ex: I have a module in top-1 and top-6 positions. Each of these are set to fill 100%(module width). I observe that these individually expand to fill 50% of the entire screen.
Is there a way to make my top-1 module position fill 75% of the screen while Top-6 remains like 25%?
regards

Hi
Ok. What I've mentioned is a Joomla 2.5 template feature. If it's like that than You need to adjust it in CSS. Please show me Your site and I'll tell You what code to use exacly.
