CSS Compression breaks page

Hi,
I'd like to turn on CSS compression which is available in the Template manager/Dev Mode, but when I do this the entire page structure breaks down, and all the content is listed horizontally top to bottom with no CSS formatting.
I'm using template TWN2 with Joomla 1.5.26.
Is there a known issue with the CSS compression or am I doing something wrong?

Hi,
I think it should work but there might be some problem with cache function, please try clearing cache data after turning on that mode. If it doesn't help, please send me a PM to provide with backend and FTP access then I will check further. Also remember to keep your template up to date.
Thanks,

Hi,
I cleaned the Joomla cache as well as my browser cache but that didn't make a difference. I PMed you the access to the backend.
Thanks!

Thank you for the PMs, however I haven't got enough permission to test the template, can you please set my account to super admin?

Hi,
It was a problem from your htaccess file which redirected the link to css file to a 404 page, I have temporarily changed it to .htaccess_don to not use it and the site works with CSS Compression now.
