Created date not showing

I have two instances of World News II running http://phildobbie.com/main and http://phildobbie.com/aboto.

They are running on Joomla 2.5.11, K2 v2.5.7

In both cases the item created date is not showing in item view, even though it is selected in the category and the item is set to 'inherit from category'.

Anyone else hitting this problem? How is it fixed?

Yes I have, and it doesn't.

Looking through the forum I think I am not alone with this issue and I can't see it resolved anywhere.

And it's entirely replicable.

- The created date simply doesn't show in K2 articles on WNII
- The created date does show in non K2 articles on WNII
- The created date does show in K2 articles on other (non Gavick) templates - eg Beez2

It seems a fault with the template interacting with K2.

Can someone help before I have to switch to a completely new template.
