Remove Mainbody from Home

Hello,
I have used the Template Manager to set the homepage Mainbody position as "Component Only" and have made sure to leave the position empty of anything, but it still appears as an empty box on the homepage.
It will be used in other pages, so I can't remove it completely from the template, I just don't want it on HOME. Can someone help me with removing it so that the visible content on the homepage isn't so far apart?

Looking forward to your help!
Thank you,
Carlos

You should set as below in template settings.
Main Body - FrontPage : Mainbody Only
Main Body - subpages: Component Only.
See you around...

Hi,
I am also having the same problem. I have set the parameters in the template mentioned below but it does not seemed to have worked. If you look at the home page of my site, there is a large white space at the bottom of the content area before the footer. It is a div called gkMainbodyWrap. I would be most greatful if you could tell me how to get rid of this on the home page.
