Article not opening in Home Page

I am using GK4 and the article linked in Home page is not opening up when we click Read More...I tried different methods other than using GK4...tried to use articles-newsflash but the article is not opening up in that either and tried to put the article from Home Menu..doing that article is not visible. I cannot figure out and Would really appreciate any help received

According to the above article, does that mean, for each articles menu needs to be created. Isnt that any other way to fix this.
