Virtual server - MySQL Connection Timeouts

Dear forum members, I put my news web on a separate virtual web server.
Configuration is:
Joomla! 2.5.17 Stable
Apache/2.2.22 (Debian), API - CGI/FastCGI
PHP 5.4.23-1~dotdeb.1
DB 5.5.33-0+wheezy1-log
Web: www.turieconline.sk
Traffic: +-1000 visitors a day
Storage: 14GB (7GB free), RAM: 768 GB, 1x CPU
From the beginning I have problews with MySQL Connection Timeouts, after restart it is working minutes or hours or days... I can not figure out what is the problem. I moved the site from classic hosting where everything ran without problems (but slow)

Looks like a problem with server configuration. Sadly we cant help you much.
Probably you need a help of advanced linux administrator.
