Cart Module Removal

Hi This is an awesome template. I am using this not for a shop instead for a simple website. Is there any way that i can remove the cart module position and add a banner over like a simple module position instead of cart

If i add some custom_html and set it to cart position, the cart only appears

Can You Help Me in This

Instead of cart i need to put a horizontal banner (most likely a custom module in there )

I also have this issue. Disabling the module does not seem to work. We will use the template for ecommerce but not just at the moment.
Any ideas most welcome

Found it. I disabled K2 rather than Virtuemart cart. Correctly disappeares now.

Replacing it for the module position for banner is a customization and we do not support that, but please take a look at this tip: 94-sporter/71226-re-adding-top-banner-module.html#71226

How to change the cart position with other module? i try to change with other module on cart position, BUT when changed the virtuemart module appear instead my module.
