which file to edit for categories

hi all,

Im trying to edit category page, where sub-categories and/or products are displayed.

I want to delete "list categories" title and change the order of the things displayed (such as moving "sort by" after category description).

please can you tell me which file(s) I need to be looking at to do that?

Please take a look which file have You selected in the setting and than go to component/com_virtuemart/themes/default/templates/ and probably in /browser directory You will find what You need.

I am using yourshop template with virtuemart theme. I uploaded gv_default folder under themes.In VM settings, (Configuration > Site > Layout: gv_default).

So I think in this case I need to find ..../themes/gk_default/templates/browse instead of ../default/..

There are 8 files here, I tried changing gk_default and it changes products and descriptions, but it doesnt affect top of the page, where "category description" and "sort by" fields are. They must be controlled by another file, could you let us know which file it is?
