Photoslide not working properly

Hello,
I decided to switch to the image rotator option and not use the template style for YourShop.

I can't get it to work. I chose style1, style2, and style3 and each one has their problems.

My site is currently showing style2

shows this text on the home page where the images are supposed to be:

has the bravia image with the bear, but doesn't rotate

Style1
doesn't show anything but a spinning gear in the browser and has this text in the module:

don't hang me up on this, but i know there's been a problem with image rotator, where the engine.js file had a reference to a mangement but miss-spelled without the t... can't seem to find the right post atm thou...

Okay. I am looking forward to the solution.

Please try also disable mootools upgrade plugin if Yoou are not foing to use template style.

Explodedk is right there were a bug in engine.js file. A small type "getElemen" instead of "getElements". It has been fixed in the module version, so You can overwrite the files of the module.

Thanks for your reply, but I am not sure which files I replace. I could not find the typo in any engine.js file.

Is it Image Show or Photoslide? What folders and files?

Thanks, that is better, but all 3 styles look exactly the same and none of them have text.

Also, before the first image loads, I can see the url to the images. Can I preload the images so this doesn't happen?

Hehe. I've changed it back to template style after reading the ticket form You. Please believe me. Designer did used image rotator style and added couple of things to it, so after removing the arrows with the code I gave You on the ticket You will get Image rotator style with text in the simpliest way possible.

However, now I can't modify the details in the module except for the text block height.

I have tried to change the opacity, and color of the text block and can't do it.

I would like the background to be a bit lighter, and nothing I do changes it.

Please use Firebug to see where to change css code. With this plugin for firefox You will be able to see the changes live.

It doesn't make sense. For example. it says "see details" above, and on the live site it says, "check details"

If you have to change everything on the css side, what is the point of the module parameters? I just don't understand.

I can change the height of the black box, but not the opacity.

Please help. I want to somehow make the black box less dark.

I't really not so complicated Module got styles. Couple of this styles got the settings fixed up because it only works designed way with the right settings. But if You are saying that it's about "See details" and "Check details" than I'm thinking if it's not a cache problem. Probably some settings were left old there. Or maby You are working on some other copy of this module.


The thing You are trying to do is an image backgrund. You will find this image at /images/gk_is_bg.png
