Add phone and country fields in virtuemart 1.1.6 in YourShop Template

Hi Guys, this topic seems very popular in a lot of forums. How to add extra fields to "Ask a question about this product" form. So far I´ve been searching and the following link seems to be the best answer:

and really easy, specially that someone post an attachment with all the files for lazypeople! The problem I´m having is that it´s not working in YourShop template, so I wonder if the template has to do with this issue. Can somebody help me with this??? I´m almost sure that is something really small and easy what´s missing, just that in my case I´m a web designer not a programmer
