Default menu item always blank

Hello

The "Home" menu item in the main menu, is always blank no matter what type i set it to. I tried to set it as an article, or as virtuemart but its always blank.

I tried setting another menu item as the default, and it became blank, and the "Home" page displayed the virtuemart correctly.

I confirmed the behaviour, whenever i set a menu item as the default, it shows a blank screen.

My site is a quick start YourShop. Its still local on my pc.
