chart module

I am attempting to place a search box in the top right hand corner of the youshop module but whenever i do that the only thing that appears is the chart. I have remove the k2 shopping chart comp and the virtual mart comp and the shop chart module but when i place a search box in the top right corner it becomes a chart.
