Your shop module issue

I have made a quickinstall in Xampp, of yourshop.com. Worked very well with no errors at all.
I don´t want to use the cart, so i disable the module "VirtueMart Shopping Cart" and it dissapear from the position as it´s supposed to.
BUT when i try to move the search module from "Header 1" to the "Cart position" it shows the VirtueMart Shopping Cart again????
The cart module is still disabled and the search module dosn´t show....
Am i missing something or is there an error in the template?

i'll ask developer if this position is strictly for cart, or if it's a bug..

same here. (using MAMP for the moment) This is a"need" because there is situations I'm not use a shop, but the position cart is needed for an always available search. lets know what we can do to enable the search there.

this position is for cart, and cart only...

you will need to make your own module positions to publish something else...

why don't you make the position flexible, so it can be used for search too ?


If someone did modd the template so it can be used for search in the cart position, please let me have the files / code.


- the styled frames on left and right of the photo_show slider was tacky, I removed that in the CSS (hidden). I would instead add a green border on top. don't need navigation on such an item. Maybe I dont need the slider either.

thing is, I need to add the position for a module where the cart is, but when I look after the code, I dont find the file or code that the position CART is.

Im thinking that it might be possible to change the code that the cart module has, or I have to place the code that same place ??
