I've been playing around with Yourshop on UmaBalla.com, nothing major just tweeting around, but I've noticed that there are a lot of ul li floating around in the code and jomsocial is rife with them. I just find them hard to control with css. So should I invest some time into working with them, is there some tricks to working with them that I don't know?

I thought I was tripping and couldn't uderstand what was going on with this new template Yourshop. But this template has a problem with ui and ul, it seems to add 300px to the top of some ul. Now when I customized a jomsocial and it did it I just thought I was still a noob and was tripping. But any install of jomsocial will not be right.

Now sense Gavick didn't make a template I figured I was on my own and broke the template all the way down and rebuilt it wil <div>

But the same this is happening when I started to customize a jreviews and added JQ tabs to it and they use ul and ui and I'll be damned if that space isn't there again.

What is in this template that could do this?

Sorry about that, I've got some local competition that tries to steam my ideas and designs. At any rate I have set up a demo user for you to rove around as a user before I try to fix this issue again.

User: demo
Pass: demo

I also noticed a js conflict with Jomsocial that happens when the admin tries to use the controls of a user:

Code: Select all
Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; GTB6.6; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; OfficeLiveConnector.1.5; OfficeLivePatch.1.3; .NET4.0C; InfoPath.3)

Message: Expected ';'

Not sure if this is the template js or not.

Hi

Ok I do not see this file in the demo template. I'm sending this thread to our programmer. I'm stupid if it requires a javascript. ;/

It is a bug in 3rd party plugin - please see where error is reported - in the plugin file code.

if the error was reported i sure wouldn't be here I would have taken care of it.. no error was generated.. none the less I just rebuilt the whole site from scratch. Between Jreviews, Jomsocial, T3, all in the same site something is bound to go roughe in the script.

Hi

Is this what you need?

Code: Select all
#community-wrap .profile-toolbox-br {height: 35px}
#community-wrap .profile-toolbox-tl ul.small-button {position: absolute;margin-top: -7px!important}
