Author Block

I am unable to see any module to remove the author block, the latest from administrator and the related items. All on the product page. Is there an easy way to edit or remove these?

I have the joomla 2.5 yourstore template.

what does it mean for you "Author Block" is this inside K2 items? Have you used K2 component before?
On youtube you can find some tutorials.

If yes, this can be changed from K2 category configuration.

Sure, that why Joomla is popular & easy to use CMS. But As you see when you have external extension, manage becomes a little bit harder

In back-end:
Components --> K2 -> Categories -> choose on which category you want to remove those info blocks, click on name.
Choose "Item view options" tab --> Find "Author options" section -> and disable unnecessary options, Save changes.

Sometimes you have to change this same settings(!) also in Parent category if you're using subcategories.

Ahh, thank you. That was exactly what I was wanting. So how do you edit the administrator info if you want to keep it? Such as the text and the picture? thx again!
