Is yourShop ok on joomla 2.5.11

Hi Gavick team,
I see that some of the templates are updated for joomla 2.5.11.
I have testet the new core with current template (latest update) of yourShop and it seems ok but havent tested a lot. I havent updated live site yet. Is it safe to update?
Ok to update to VM 2.0.20b also?

YourShop is over 2 years old so will not be supported with VM template syles. You need to try and update on a copy first to see if there is no problem with it.

Ok, so this means that templates more than two years old arent supported anymore?
There are only a few vm templates and not many new alternatives.
Could you also address the q'n with the core update.
From what i have seen the updates will not change styling and updates should be fine.

Yes that's true. In most cases even older styles works fine with VM, but since some of the templates may not be supported than it can be risky. So I always advice to try on a copy.
