Remove Shopper Information, User Permissions, Customer ID

Hi all,

I have created a test account on my site.

When I log into it using the 'Account Maintenance' - a 'Shopper Information' screen appears.

Some of the information on this screen does not really look as though the customer needs to see it i.e. 'Shopper Information', 'User Information' and 'Customer ID'.

The next screen 'General User Information' also has 'Shopper Group' - which I don't think the customer needs to see.

Is there any way that I can hide these four fields from the customers?

Hi,
yes you can override view and add 'display:none' style to lements you don't want to see. Go to components/com_virtuemart/views/user/tmpl and copy edit_vmshopper.php to templates/gk_yourshop/html/com_virtuemart/user and edit this file to remove unneeded fileds.

I have copied the file to the templates\gk_yourshop\html\com_virtuemart\user\edit_vmshopper.php folder, but I'm not sure which lines I am meant to be editing.
