News Show Pro GK4 - Virtuemart products not showing

Hi all,

I am wondering if someone can help please.

I am using News Show Pro GK4 ver. 3.1.1.

Under 'Data Source' I have selected 'Source of Articles' as 'Virtuemart Products' and entered the Virtuemart Products ID.

I entered IDs 27, 28 and 29 (entered as "27,28,29"). This displays only 2 products (27 and 28 - not 29).

If I enter "29" by itself, then I get a message 'Error: No articles to display'. I get the same message if I enter only "27" by itself too.

I am wondering what I am doing wrong.

Can someone please help?

Please update News Show Pro GK4 for latest version, because on version 3.3 some VM issues were fixed.

I downloaded version 3.3.3 from here:

I installed 'mod_news_pro_gk4_J!25.zip'

After installing it is showing the version as ver. 3.1.2 and my issue still remains.

Any ideas?

Just one question:
Do you have multi-language available on your website?
If so, did you set on each VM category english version too?

No worries - you don't have to apologise - I understand how busy it can get sometimes

The Multilingual shop is set to only English (United Kingdom).

I have sent you the credentials by PM.

On my main page - the 'Hit Story' is the one with the problem (it is displaying 'Error: No articles to display'. The problem seems to be intermittent with the 'Features' too - as in it is displaying 2 products at the moment, even though in the back-end I have allocated it 3 Virtuemart products. If I change it to just one product, it may stop working (I have no idea why that is).

Any help in resolving this would be much appreciated.

It think it's working fine now.

When you update Virtuemart component, don't forget also to update Virtuemart AIO.

Strong suggestion:
Try keeping all vm image with same size. It will give your website a better view

The initial problem still seems to be there?

For example - on the home page - the 'Features' section is only displaying 2 products, when I have entered 3 in the 'Data Source'.

Also, I have enterted 3 virtuemart product IDs in the 'Hit Story' section but I am getting the "Error: No articles to display" message.

Any ideas?

Hi again

That's because you had on "Features" module 3 vm articles to display and set "First news number" to 1. So what that means is that it will "jump" the first item and display only the other two.

Same thing was happening on "Hit Story"- you set 3 vm articles and set "First news number" to 3.
Following the same logic the module will not have any items to display
