modal iframe doesn't work for anything

Hi,

Installed a new Joomla 2.5.7 site with the yourshop template (to replace an existing Joomla 1.5.26 site with the same template), but now the large virtuemart product pictures are no longer displayed in a modal lightbox. I noticed anything that usually opens in a modal iframe no longer opens in a frame, but a new page is now opened instead. It seems to be a conflict, and from what I've read has to do with mootools, but what could be the issue here?

I've made no modifications or have not written any custom code, but only override.css is used to manipulate styling. There are some additional products installed, but how can I tell if and when one of these causes conflicts? Products with (additional) plug-ins installed:

- AcyMailing
- Phoca Maps (installed after the issue was first noticed)
- RSForm! Pro (installed after the issue was first noticed)
- JComments
- Articles Anywhere (NoNumber)
- Akeeba Backup Pro
- Joomla Content Editor
- Joo Recaptcha Pro
- RSSeo
- JD iDEAL Gateway
- VirtueMart 2.10

BTW The issue with the modal iframe occurs on two websites with the yourshop template I noticed (the site mentioned before and http://www.miniaturengroothandel.nl, which is a live site). I have another site based on the boutique template that has no issues with modal iframes (http://www.winwinwonen.nl, which is also a live site).

I've solved the issue on one website with the yourShop template installed (a minor change loading jQuery for the Custom Filter module solved the issue), but have now got the same issue on two other sites using a GavickPro template, but wasn't able to use the same solution. I've reported the issue on the Virtuemart forum, and got a reply stating it is probably a jscript issue related to the template. Thruth is I've never had the issue on other sites using templates from other suppliers, so could this indeed have to do with a template related jscript conflict/issue?

I'm not a developer myself and therefor not very good at debugging as well, so any help is appreciated!
