Cart replacement and number of items

Hello!
Thanks to this forum i was at the end able to replace (partly) the virtuemart cart by hikashop cart.
Still unfortunatly number of items in the cart are not updated. If you add goods to the cart, the cart always shows "0 items". If you go to checkout, then the correct number is shown.

I have 2 questions:
first, i would appreciate very much if anybody could tell me (and maybe others as well?) which steps to perform in order the right number of items are shown. (it would not be too helpful just to remove the number of items..)

Second, i want to have a module, where the selected items and prices are presented. Basically, if you now click on the cart button, there is a pop-up, which has exactly all the information which i would like to have in the module.

I'm sorry but this question should be directed to hikashop developers. Both questions are about a module, one to show number of items in cart and the second to show products. I can help You to make a new module position for both, unfortunately it's beyond the support to create such extensions.

thanks for quick reply! Seems, i was not precise enough . The number of items are not updated as long as i put the cart module on the cart position in the template If you set the cart on some other position, you don't get the layout of the cart, but items are updated.

At the 'cart position', the cart itself looks great, it would be nice to keep it that way.

Regarding the "extra module": you are right, maybe this is not for this forum.

I'm lost now Are You telling me that hikashop number of products are also updated in our template ? This is strange because this template doesn't have a support for Hikashop at all. Are You sure products are not being displayed from K2store or Virtuemart and number of items are updated while this products are being purchased ?
