Upgrade from Joomla 1.5.22 to 2.5

I have a website with the Yourshop template (www.centurygrowsystems.co.uk). I want to get it up to the latest version of Joomla (2.5) - it is currently at version 1.5.22 - could you please advise how I go about this without having any impact on the sites content?

Thanks for the reply Don. I have created a duplicate of the site I wish to upgrade from 1.5.22 to 2.5 (to test first), installed JUpgrade but when I click on the Start Upgrade button nothing happens? I can give you login details for the backup site if you wish? Site is - dev.centurygrowsystems.co.uk
