How do i change the background Color

Hello i'm using yourshop.com template, joomla 2.5 and i was wondering how i can change the background color from that gray and image to a white background?

hey sorry to ask for your help again can you remind me how i can change the background to a white color, i had to reinstall my quickstart package because of some problem. Now, i'm trying to do the same thing i did last time to change the background color to a plain white by going to template.css and edit the first line. Which at the moment this is what i got but it didn't do anything :

body { min-height:100%;line-height:1.9; background:#fffff ;font-size:13px; color: #ffffff;}
a {color: #FFFFFF; text-decoration:none; }
