wrong url in virtuemart moduloe

I did a quick install of the template for a trial under a temporary directory and I found a big problem I'm not able to solve.
After updating the virtuemart to 1.1.9 (and its default template as suggested in the forum ) I wanted to try the virtuemart module on the left and I discovered that I cannot see the product of a give category but instead I return always to the home page.

Looking more carefully the url of the links I see they are of the kind:
index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1&lang=it

I discovered that if I manually change the value given to itemid (for example I put itemid=2) it seems that I reach the page of the products.

I don't know how to solve this, could you help?

Please create a menu item in main menu of a virtuemart type. This is a way of setting a landing page for VM, otherways it will be using homepage.

And remember to set proper menu item ID in News Show Pro module settings, this is necessary if you want to display properly module positions on this pages.
