Additional fields of a product?

Hi. I am creating a shop with Virtuemart and the template Yourshop. I need that the client could select inside the product in what color it wants it. For example; the toallas X in pink, blue or green color. How I can add this field of selection inside the article? In addition also I need that the client could indicate a text to me to embroider in the towels. How I can add one do I stand out in order that he writes to me the text to embroidering in this concrete product?. Thank you
