Hi there,
Very new to this and I have a problem with the quickstart installation.
I have my domain and space configured to Joomla 1.5 and have uploaded the 'dark store' template successfully. I did this in the back end via the extentions > install/uninstall.

This doesn't work for the quickstart template.

There are additional instructions which confirm that I need to access a specific file and change in via FTP

http://wiki.gavick.com/joomla-templates ... oomla-1-5/

"Additional step when Virtuemart Component is included

Only if you are installing a quickstart version that has integrated Virtuemart Component, in addition to all the previous steps, please access via FTP to the following file

../administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.cfg.php

and add URL or path on this lines.

// These path and url definitions here are based on the Joomla! Configuration
define ('URL','');
define ('SECUREURL','');
Add your URL or path to your website, like this example shows:

// These path and url definitions here are based on the Joomla! Configuration
define ('URL','http://www.yourwebsite.com/joomla/');
define ('SECUREURL','http://www.yourwebsite.com/joomla/');"

My question is how do I access the file if I can't upload it in the first place via the extension method?

The solution is FTP. So, which folder do I upload the files to? HT Docs? Do I copy the folders over 1 by one after I've made the changes to the this file locally? "../administrator/components/com_virtuemart/virtuemart.cfg.php"?

All help much appreciated.
