I have had the same issue, but have resolved this by copying the virtuemart theme from the gk_yourshop_rest_files_J!15 download. The issue exists if one does a fresh custom install.

[SOLUTION]
I renamed the folder ./components/com_virtuemart/themes/default and then copied the folder ./gk_yourshop_rest_files_J!15/vm_theme/default to the themes directory.

This caused my virtuemart shop to display correctly including the cart items.

I'm pretty sure this was fixed. Please upgrade Your template to the latest one ???? Not a very confident answer I must say....

I'm surprised that this hasn't been resolved yet and if it is, why not apply it to your demo on gavick.com? It would make all happy and would put this to rest

Hi

Thanks for your support.
I understood yet, K2 and VM don't work together.
I will use VM only so I have question about mod_virtuemart_login:
how could I change mod_virtuemart_login font and style like gk_yourshop Joomla login form has?

Joomla login form style I can correct in gk_yourshopcssjoomla.css - right?
Which *.css is responsible for mod_virtuemart_login styles so I could correct it by hand if you don't have ready solution!?

Thank you,
Andris

Hi,

I am having this same issue with the Shop Cart module in the Cart position always shows [0] regardless of the number of items that are actually in the cart. I have read through the above and I don't see a definitive answer to this.

The other posts in this thread seem to suggest that the problem was resolved in version 1.0.2 of gk_yourshop but I am using version 1.0.4.

My site is www.originalbootcamp.biz.

I installed gk_yourshop quickstart with VirtueMart 1.1.7 and Joomla 1.5.22. I am running php 5.2.17 and mysql 5.1.55.

I have read posts that suggest this is sometimes a permissions problem, but that doesn't appear to an issue here. I am certain that the permissions are set up correctly.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

After looking for an answer to this for several hours and then posting the above, I stumbled on a post that I missed which resolved this:

QUOTING:
---
[SOLUTION]
I renamed the folder ./components/com_virtuemart/themes/default and then copied the folder ./gk_yourshop_rest_files_J!15/vm_theme/default to the themes directory.
---

So, the problem appears to still exist in the latest version of the quickstart, but not in the latest version of the rest_files.

My thanks go out to APSeeker.

Hi

Yes. Unfortunately Quickstart is a copy of demo site which is still running on older VM. In rest files package You will find the newest style for VM.

teitbite, you're not even trying, are you?

Thank you Garstka and APSeeker, you solved my problem!

What Garstka wrote is that the only thing he did to fix this (and it worked for me too) was to overwrite minicart.tpl.php in:

/components/com_virtuemart/themes/default/templates/common/

with the file from the gk_yourshop_rest_files_J!15.zip archive:

gk_yourshop_rest_files_J!15vm_themedefaulttemplatescommon

That's it!
