how to configure the "Sport Headlines" section

1) I need to know how to configure the "sport headlines" scroll on top of the page.
2) I want to configure rss feeds to it.

One more question, is there any way I could create a category where I could flood RSS feeds from other websites?

You can try to use some 3rd party extensions like feedgator which as I remember can be used to import articles from RSS to Joomla! in specific periods of time.

You have to change the "Introtext value" in the module settings at the "Layouts" tab.
