1. unzip the quickstart folder
2. used ftp to upload it into the server
3. installed joomla as per joomla installation
4. when gone to the site i can go to normal joomla templates but when select postnote as default i am getting internal server error

please help me

FYI i am using mysql 4.0.20

Few Web hosts, consider 755 as writable and few 777 as writable and vice-versa. So,in case you are getting 500 Internal Server Error, then just swap the permissions to the one, they are currently. The recommended permissions are 755 for folders and 644 for files.
But firstly try install again quickstar using this instructions https://www.gavick.com/supportdesk/inde ... rt-package
