modul positions - what do I do wrong?

I'm trying to create a frontpage with 4 boxes in one line of the same height and width,
Under that a second line again: 4 boxes of the same height and width.

I tried the positions top 1 -4 for the first and top 7- 10 for the second line.

The result was that the boxes on postion 4 and 10 were wider and reduced the width of the other boxes.
Is there a way to solve that?


And how can I force the boxes to keep the same height ? It seems to work when i see the demo page.

Some advice would be awsome!

Hi

For the height the best way is to use module class suffix and add this class to css with a height. You can fix the width in the same class I suppose.
