Hello,

I have a small problem with the mobile version of Postnote template

in fact, the mobile version can't show multi column design.

is there any solution to fix it,

if there is no solution,
I'am thinking about a way to let the mobile version load another menu instead of the mainmenu (default), this way i can create a menu specially for the mobile version,

can you please tell me how can i hack that (load another menu)

thanks for your answer
regards

Hi explodedk,

i know that mobile version do not supprot at all the dropdown...
and I never talk about DropDown in my post.

I am not talking about the menu itself,

I was talking about some page on the web site that have multi column design (K2 Cat) and it dont show that correctly on the mobile version,

In all way my question is very simple,
How can I load another menu instead of the mainmenu (default), in the mobile version

Hi

That's some work :) I suggest to write a script which will recognize when the site is being displayed on mobile device and put there a regular template position instead of standard menu and use mod_mainmenu in this place.

Hi Guys,

I have the same problem as above and want to show a different menu on the phone version to that of the desktop version. Isn't there a way of loading a specific set menu? Or maybe making the site load the default menu and making the mega menu different too that?

Have you guys found a solution?

I would love to know?

It's maby not a good way, but it fills standards. So i suggest to disable mobile version at all.

The best solution would be to take a look at this Mobile Joomla The latest free version will carry ads (you have been warned), there is a Pro version on the way with no ads.

Multi device template options with many module and menu configurations for different devices, up to the minute user agent support.

It will eat up about 25Mb of your servers hard drive! :woohoo: But well worth taking the hit IMHO.

Why does the spec of the template state that it supports mobile devices? In my experience that is a wild stretch of the imagination!

Hi

I've seen a lot of mobile pages and the version from our template lacks some elements, but it's not stretch at all. This is a standard joomla look for mobile devices brought by T3 framework.

Have you tried the Mobile Joomla solution?

I find it functions as it should and looks great for Joomla sites, on pretty much all devices I have tested.

It's kind of nice to present a mobile visitor with a functional menu.
