How can I move the Postnote template up so that the offset from the top to the logo/menu is decreased. I also want to get rid of the "search menu", i.e. the top menu with login, register (can't get rid of that one) and search.

Your help is much appreciated.

if you disable search, login form and register from the module positions, and then disable tools from the template manager...

then add this to the end of the templates.css

Code: Select all
#gk-wrapper { margin-top:-70px }

this will move the whole page up a notch... play wit hthe margin if you don't want 70 percent ;)

Thank you very much for your swift and accurate advise. The CSS-addition did the trick. One thing, however: I can't find any module for "register", nor anywhere else to get rid of the register feature from the top menu. I have turned tools off in the templates manager. Furthermore, the register function is turned off in Joomla's global configuration. Still, register is displayed in the tools menu.

Any idea where I should continue looking?
